Emma has more money then she could spend and more freedom to do what she wants than other women her age. She’s the leader of her social circle and all the people she knows seem to think well of her. Though she vows never to enter a marriage, Emme prides herself on her match-making skills. Having help Isabelle and John as well as Miss Taylor and Mr Weston with their love lives, she sets her eyes on a new target, Harriet Smith. After a short while looking for a suitable tenant, Sir Walter, decides to entrust his estate to a high-ranking navy officer, Admiral Croft, and his wife. Anne, the second daughter of the house, is more affected by this series of events than anyone else. Mrs. Croft’s brother, Captain Wentworth is her former lover and every mention of him brings her pain as well as regrets for having rejected him. Before leaving, Anne receives a letter from her younger sister, Mary, who lives nearby, explaining her state of poor health and asking for Anne’s company. Unbeknown to Anne, staying in Somersetshire for just a while longer will result in her meeting Captain Wentworth. Will she get a second chance at love? Or will their acquaintance continue in bitterness and agony for both sides?
